
Okhmatdyt National Specialized Children’s Hospital is the largest children’s hospital in Ukraine and the country’s leading national center for highly specialized pediatric medical care.
For more than 130 years, we have been providing advanced medical care to children with the most complex conditions, combining extensive clinical expertise, state-of-the-art technology, and a multidisciplinary team of highly qualified specialists. The hospital is equipped with advanced neuronavigation systems, portable computed tomography (CT), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, innovative radiation therapy technologies, and high-precision laboratory diagnostics.
The Hospital Opens
With the support of philanthropist Mykola Tereshchenko, a free hospital for low-income patients was established in Kyiv.
The Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Hospital “Okhmatdyt” was established, bringing together leading specialists and the country’s most advanced fields of pediatric medicine.
The hospital was granted National status by a Presidential Decree of Ukraine.
